Residents With Special Needs Recommendations
Register on the Emergency Management Office Special Needs Registry in case those that have disabilities or special needs can be assisted quickly during an emergency, as well as utilize the county’s Special Needs Shelter.
Medical Needs and Medication Supply / Storage - Keep at least one (1) weeks supply of medications or special treatments.
- Those on special treatments where they have to go to a facility such as dialysis patients should contact their provider to establish a plan of action to continue treatment. - If you do not have at least a 30-day supply of your medications, you should contact your provider or pharmacist immediately to find out what steps you can take to obtain an early refill. Stay Connected Residents are encouraged to stay informed by Gadsden County Officials. Residents may also contact FDOH-Gadsden staff at (850) 875-7200 (option #1) 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
